This one day Retreat is for those who have already recognized and are able to rest in the true nature of awareness – invisible, formless, timeless, content-less, consciousness or Being. This means we have experienced a shift in identity that awakens us from the dream of being a limited, solid, ego-based self, separate from everything else and realized we are one with the whole of existence. Although this recognition may not be stable and on-going, we are drawn to experience the complete unfolding of this awakening.
In this Retreat we will look directly at the true nature of our emotions to see that they, like thoughts, are energetic expressions of the very same awake awareness we have experienced as complete stillness and peace. Once we can see an emotion for what it is, it spontaneously begins to free itself from the contracted, “negative”, and distorted energy that has bound it. This unleashes a surge of clarity of awake awareness that leads to greater stability, confidence, and letting go in our awakening process.
We will also examine our main emotional patterns and look into our sub-personalities to see how they are all of one nature, the nature of consciousness itself, already free and awake.
This day-long retreat will include talks, guided and silent meditations, dialogue and discussion in the safe and supportive environment of a community committed to awakening.
While I have read and received direct path teachings before, the addition – or the clear pointing out of the heart element – deepened and made more vivid my experience. Incredible.Brandon, 5-Day Retreat Participant
Sharing the retreat with a group in this setting was so important and uplifting. Result – stronger understanding of awake awareness. Highly recommended. The best teachers with years of experience who actually care about your experience.Diane, 5-Day Retreat Participant
Thank you for such spacious, pointed teaching! The material, pacing and presentation (!!) continue to be first rate. The personal examples you give are always warmly humorous and helpful. Your passion for this practice mirrors your concern and care for us, your students and fellow practitioners. I watch my practice deepen and realization clarify while sensing the same maturation in my fellow class mates.Barry, Meditation Teacher and Awakening Course Participant
