Immerse yourself in a day of meditation inspired by the Buddha’s teachings with the support and guidance of an experienced instructor. Short teachings and instruction will be followed by periods of silent meditation, walking meditation and guided meditations that emphasize the development of calm and the cultivation of meditative insight. There will be an opportunity for sharing and discussion with others in the group. Experience how extended meditation practice takes you deeper. The approach to the day will be gentle and enjoyable.
This retreat is open to anyone with experience in silent mindfulness meditation looking for the opportunity to practice in a day-long format.
Please bring a water bottle and bag lunch (optional). There will be an hour break for lunch. Tea and snacks will be provided.
