Meditation guides us to inner wholeness by teaching us how to accept all that we are, everything – including our fears, hurts, negative emotions, anxieties and feelings of personal unworthiness. Pushing away what we don’t want to feel only leads to more suffering. The way to greater happiness entails a radical shift in our relationship with our experience; to genuinely meet ourselves and our feelings with full attention, inquisitiveness, and kindness. Embracing our moment to moment experience with awareness and self-compassion allows our inner knots to untie themselves, and we find a growing sense of freedom, strength and appreciation for our life.
Readings will be assigned from Radical Acceptance: Embracing Your Life with the Heart of a Buddha by Tara Brach. This course is paired with “Freedom from Unconscious Beliefs.”
