Within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition there are meditation practices for healing that have been used for centuries to bring benefit. These healing practices work on many levels and can help with physical health problems, emotional disturbances, energy blockages, mental imbalances, and overall life issues.
Scott McBride has trained in these practices for decades – and for more than twenty years, has offered healing to individuals and groups, helping many people with a variety of physical, psychological, and spiritual issues. He conducts multiple long-distance one-on-one healings most days of every week.
How does it work? While Scott meditates, he invokes the healing presence of the universe (the “Healing Buddha”) to heal you in whatever way is most beneficial at the time. Scott himself is not performing the healing. The true healer is the Healing Buddha, that aspect of universal intelligence that is healing itself. Sourced from universal intelligence, the healing is not bound by the constraints of space or time and can be conferred from a distance.
This form of healing is also not bound by belief so you don’t have to be a Buddhist or know anything about Buddhism to participate and derive benefit. It is given freely to all who wish to receive it.
What to expect: As the session begins, Scott will explain about the healing in a little more detail. Then you will be invited to close your eyes, lie down, and open to receive. You do not need to do anything. Scott performs the meditation quietly holding in mind each individual in the group creating an energy field of healing. As you relax and receive, you may experience a palpable sense of loving energy. But whether this is felt or not, everyone receives a unique healing appropriate to their personal situation.
The meditation lasts for approximately 40 minutes, while the healing process can continue for some time after that. The experience is sometimes so relaxing that people drift off into a sleep-like rest. So, to prepare for the session, find a quiet place where you can lie down by yourself, undisturbed as much as possible by loved ones, pets or phones.
Fee for each session: $20
If you plan to attend, register no later than the Wednesday before at 5 pm when registration will be closed. No late registrations will be accepted.
