In the Footsteps of the Buddha

A Day-long Retreat

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 6
9:30 AM -12:00 PM EDT and 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM EASTERN TIME

one day Retreat with Nancy McBride - ClearLight Meditation Institute

Immerse yourself in a day of meditation inspired by some of the central teachings from the Buddha. Explore in a personal, experiential way the timeless and transformative wisdom of his instructions.

The day will include brief teachings, guided meditations, walking meditation as well as sharing and discussion with others in the group. This retreat is designed to evoke personal insight into the truths of natural peace and freedom from suffering. It’s a chance to experience how extended practice can take you well beyond your habitual daily perspective. The approach to the day will be gentle, relaxed, and enjoyable.

This online meditation program is open to anyone who has a mature mindfulness meditation practice and is interested in practicing in a group retreat format. It also serves as a companion retreat for those taking the 10 week course, “Echoes of the Buddha”.

TESTIMONIALS

You guys are serious and laid back at the same time which I really like. I feel that you have acquired real wisdom and experience in the areas that you teach, but I love how you really do “meet people where they are”.
– Past Course Participant
Walking the path under the guidance of Scott and Nancy has transformed my life. I now live it from a place of love, joy, compassion, and peace. When inevitable turmoil happens, it’s transient and I can move through it. I’m no longer whip-sawed around. Each day feels enveloped in gratitude and I feel held by a loving presence.

The talks on loving kindness were a beautiful blend of wisdom, love, science addressing the challenge of our common reality.
